Try it. What do you see?

Look for lines, shapes, colors, textures, and patterns in the neighborhood.
Find them, Count them, sort them.
Imagine if the straight lines were curvy….or the color was different. What would happen – How would it feel?

What can the lines and shapes and size tell you?
What do you think is behind this door?
Do you think it is a front door or a back door? What makes you think that?
Ask open-ended questions.
Allow children thinking time. Exchange ideas.
LLF pocket guides support neighborhood walks.
