Punctuality and young children

Punctuality and preschool are odd bedfellows – until you realize that lateness is a common irritant in Head Start programs. Tardiness affect teachers ability to implement lesson plans, children’sability to concentrate, the sense of discipline in the classroom, and parent-teacher attitudes about each other.

A recent study, undertaken in partnership with the National Head Start Association, suggests this issue is widespread and merits attention.
