Punctuality is as important to children’s success in school  as it is to parents’ ability to sustain a job.

Businesses increasingly reward punctuality.

Preschool and early elementary programs increasingly stiffen penalties for lateness.

The Perfectly Punctual Campaign rewards behavior by prominently displaying pictures of Perfectly Punctual children each week, and recognizing parents and families with flowers and accolades at periodic family events.

LLF’s national survey on punctuality in partnership with the National Head Start Association identified that punctuality is a widespread issue as early as preschool.  (See Survey summary under articles.)
