Messages of the Built Environment Resource Guide

is an idea book, which introduces architectural language in English and Spanish and  suggests creative approaches to a broad range of early childhood topics.  Topics like shape hunts and exploring patterns are supported with suggestions for  circle time discussions,  classroom follow-up activities,  family actitivities and concluding  classroom projects that can serve as authentic assessments.

A Child’s Guide to the Built Environment

is available within the Message Resource guide or as a stand alone. It explores Homes and Houses, Classrooms and Schools, Neighborhoods and Street Furniture, and Downtowns and Streetscapes.  Each unit has suggests questions to start conversations and books and websites to extend learning.

is a guide for Out-of-School-Time activities andor classroom enrichment using a visual literacy approach to explore typical preschool and early elementary themes:  Animals, transportation, gardens, etc.

Perfectly Punctual Toolkit

is a  how-to guide for managing the Perfectly Punctual Campaign.  The toolkit includes materials for parents and children, a progress checklist for managers, templates for classroom, family, and certificate materials,  and suggested activities for family celebrations.

Manual for Family Field Trips and Community Builds

Program, staffing, and timing suggestions for out-of-school time events that promote informal learning among families and strengthen home school, and community relationships.
